Its true, Casidy got braces! She has been wanting them for quite some time now, but so far I don't think she likes them very much. She says her teeth hurt, and now she's explaining how she flosses, which is disgusting. She's showing me all her stuff which I really have no interest in. She keeps demonstrating how she eats a banana. gross

Cool, Casidy! The first week is the worst. Then it's only sore teeth each time the braces get tightened. Your lips won't ever feel raw again after this week. And as for sore teeth - the more you endure the pain and chew through your soreness, the faster the soreness goes away. This advice is from your Aunt Mel who had braces and who mothered three boys with braces (so far).
